Sunday- mass, crazy fun with the running of the

Red Springs Express Bed Race

Youth and the not so

youthful, pushing their

specially prepared

racing beds up over the

bridge on Inspiration Ave.

and down toward Gibson

Street in a 100 meter dash.

The race is runs in heats and

the good natured

competition between teams

of students, organizations

and service groups gets everyone excited.

Who will take home the trophy plaque in 2009?

As the 2006 official race starter, Governor Janet Napolitano did a great job. We wish her good will as the new Director of Homeland Security. Who will be this years starter?

The Spree kicks off with the Parade

along Sullivan Street, starting at Bullion Plaza Museum and Cultural Center on Friday evening, followed by a BBQ Dinner and live music at Memorial Park.

The Craft Show and Vendors

will be open and so the festivities begin...

Also:  a Car & Motorcycle Show,  display of

Antique Gas Engines and Mining Equipment (all weekend) and a schedule of Folklorico Dancing and Music at Bullion Plaza as well as the Boy Scout fair.
